A DESTINATION

Flavours of Africa is an African-themed restaurant in Kolkata serving delicious African cuisine from all regions of Africa. It is the brainchild of a doctor couple who are in love with Africa and its food, culture, wildlife, and nature. Their first contact with Africa was in their childhood through Bibhuti Bhushan Bandyopadhyay's Chander Pahar and they have paid a tribute to him through their Chander Pahar gallery. Their aim is to spread their love for Africa among the people of Kolkata for which they have also opened a Tourism Corner ' Under the African Sky Tours and Travels ' which helps to explore, discover, and experience Africa in all its hues

Every plate achieves that elusive, cuisine-defining balance of sweet, salty, and sour – dessert.

This savory grilled meat—usually meat or chicken—is coated in a spicy, fragrant seasoning mix and then roasted to perfection over open flames.

The magic of Suya lies in its combination of spices, including signature ground peanuts, cayenne pepper, ginger, garlic, and a special blend of secret herbs that give it its unforgettable taste.

The key ingredient in this dish is fresh fish, typically varieties like tilapia, nile perch, or even local catches depending on the region. The fish is marinated in a blend of spices and herbs that are characteristic of Tanzanian cooking.
